I was hoping for a decent discussion. Oh well. After reading the article it is clear that the army has quite a few British traditions to do away with. Officers should not be viewing NCM's as inferior.

Yep. The old tradition of serving the grunts as your peons.
Also, I have to wonder the level of battle stress among Indian soldiers. Soldier suicides and the like. Even the U.S. takes poor care of it's veterans
