What's new

India's total population is now 1.21 billion

India has more water to land percentage to China but our output is low, We have more potential to produce food than China :coffee:
but India didnt have agrarian revolution that enable all the people from villages have land.or else India would do far better than China now,for more and fertile land, enough rainfull and warm weather.
look at another country that has as good land and weather as India-Vietnam.India has the potential to become a big scale Vietnam .but the question is when and how?

India's population explosion is natural, particularly when advanced contra-receptive materials such as condoms are considered luxuary items with most people being too poor to afford them despite the huge efforts of Bill Gates Foundation in India.

The same as Sub-Sahara Africans and their genetic cousins of Australia Astraloid, Indians (Astraloid as the base race for both so-called "high" castes and "low" castes) naturally follow r-strategy which is to produce a lot of eggs, I mean WOW..., in the hope that 1 or several of them could avoid die from hunger and/or deseases in order to survive into adulthood (so dear Indian members here in PDF: consider yourselves lucky ). In the animal world, the counterparts are fish, mosquitos, flies, rats, chicken, etc that also follow r-strategy.

Whereas the Chinese ( the East Asians in general) and indigenious Europeans naturally follow the k-strategy which is reverse of r. Even the Chinese mainland had no 1-child policy, the birth rate would still be very low, comparable to other ethnic Chinese regions such as HK, Singapore, Taiwan, Chinese communities in Europe, the US etc. In the animal world, the counterparts are cats, dogs, bears, tigers, dolphins, etc that also follow k-strategy.

Survival strategy is statistically long proven to be positively correlated with IQ, you guessed it.

High IQ groups most likely follow k-strategy producing a few with concentrated care having longer life span, while low IQ groups such as Indians mostly follow r-strategy producing a lot (comparatively, of course)with little or no care having shorter life span. It's nothing new.

BTW: Ever thought about handing in your scientific comments to the Nobel Committee??? Maybe you are gonna win the next Nobel Price.....

india is second largest producer of rice..we have no shortage of rice.but the problem is we have problems with our public distribution system..inadequate storage facilities which is being adressed as we speak and the major problem is diverting food grain.which is why we've initiated a program called adhar.every citizen is given a unique number which have every info of u including ur iris and fingerscan..so the govt nsures the legitimate person who is entitled to the benefits gets them.similarly to all the other schemes..about half of the population would be provided with this by next year.and it would be completed in next 3-4 years.

Thanks for the epic laugh man :omghaha:

Did absolutely no one taught you how to have a discussion with arguments backed up with sources?

Your selfmade "scientific" theories dont make you appear smarter than you are.

Why are you guys so happy with more people? It's the thing I hate the most with China, it's a sign of undeveloped country. People who are well off rarely wants more than 2 kids, IF kids.

All of my relatives in China can have 2 kids, but none of them do, or even want to think about it.

As to the economics factor, with more people all India will be able to do is cheap manufacturing, which means doing something China has done 20 years ago, and something China is trying to move away from.

So this is not good news.

Condoms are distributed free in India specially to the targeted population
