India's Rupee: Asia's Worst-Performing Currency

Didn't some Indian name this the 'Hindu rate of growth'

I don't know who said that but that's what they used to call it.
I'm not joking or insulting.
Just stating the facts.

Yes, that was the term that the Indians themselves used:

Hindu rate of growth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term was coined by Indian economist Raj Krishna.

It suggests that the low growth rate of India, a country with a high Hindu population was in a sharp contrast to high growth rates in other Asian countries, especially the East Asian Tigers, which were also newly independent.

It indicates something like 3-4% growth rates.

PKR is the most screwed up currency in the world,

If you want to buy/sell INR u ll get a quote like 52.72/52.82

but if you want to buy/sell PKR,the quote ll be like 88/92.

This is a real fact, don't try to fight it.

That tells the real story.

88/92 was months back.. Now PKR trades at 95

Why are you guys comparing yourself to a country 7x smaller than you?
You should be comparing yourself to similar sized countries like China.

On an interesting note, this is from the last few days:

October 12, 2012

Financial Times - RMB hits 19-year high against dollar

--------------------------

This theoretically would have hurt our exports, but we also just posted a widening trade SURPLUS.

October 14, 2012

Financial Times - Chinese exports grow faster than expected

Actually strong RMB lowers input costs like raw materials and energy.
RMB has appreciated 30+% since 2005, but we still export heaps.
It shows our productivity and efficiency.

RMB would be much much stronger if the currency was allowed to float freely.

Julius Caesar had his Calphurnia, he had his Antonia, he also had an affair with Cleopatra and, when Caesar used to come to Rome, the Senators locked up their wives. He was also known in Rome as every woman’s husband.

India on the other hand acts as the wife of every husband in the region.

She fights with everyone around when she cuts her sabzi in the gali sitting outside her home, displays thumkas of her economy when she wants to impress those who pass-by, talks about her ancestry and civilization as her superior virtuosity, threaten the neighbours about how powerful her mamun is and looks down upon others living around her.

Ignoring her is the best answer.
