India’s Role in Communal Violence in Bangladesh

.
A strong democratic and stable Bangladesh is never advantageous for Indians
Recently I was going through the old GDP data of Pakistan. One thing shocking for me was how strong and the economically vibrant country was Pakistan (united) in 1960-1970. Pakistan was the fourth-biggest economy in Asia. In 1970 the last year of united Pakistan its GDP growth was 11.3 %. As a strong and stable Pakistan (united) was never advantageous for Indians. Similarly, Bangladesh could not be either. I wish if Bangalies brothers and sisters could have comprehended this in 1971. Bangladesh has two examples to follow Bhutan or Pakistan. If you guys want to be a vassal state of India like Bhutan then you will have to pay a heavy price as well. A time will come when you will be at the beck and call of India and even someday you would not be allowed to breathe freely.
If you want to follow Pakistan and want to be a sovereign and independent state then you should prepare yourself for big sacrifices. Believe me, without any external support it will be a Himalayan task for Bangladesh and its people to tackle this evil state of India. Imagin without Chinese support it would have been a complete disaster for Pakistan. Keep in mind how much Pakistan has suffered in political, social, and economical terms. Are Bangladesh and its people ready to withstand the consequences of the conflict with India? I do not think so.:coffee:

This is exactly my point brother.

A lot of Bangladeshis to this day do not understand the big picture that their future cannot be as a vassal of India, rather being a strong independent, developed state.

The song and dance by successive administrations in India about "friendship, harmony and co-development" is hogwash in my opinion. They have been exploiting us (as I have shown the evidence numerous times) to the tune of at least $60 Billion a year - if not more. All this Indian song and dance is just there to hide the actual intent by their govt., which is evident in how they mercilessly murder our people at the border, and how they keep blocking our exports to their markets. These are just two examples of their "friendly" behavior with us Bangladeshis, whom they have termed "termites".

It is time we cease and desist our fruitless efforts over five decades to give them sops on trade benefits based on "friendship", it is a fool's errand. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again and it yields the same bad results, then it is time to change tactic.

My prescription was to reduce trade with India to a minimum possible - given how unreliable India has been as a business partner.

And time to hush the noisy India shills in Bangladesh who are on India's payroll.

By now I believe it is amply clear to everyone halfway literate in Bangladesh that we don't need India's involvement in any sphere of our development, going forward. Ask any man or woman on the street, you will get this same answer.
