a) economy
b) Military
c) Military Technology
d) Alliance, Relation with Other countries.

as far as India is concerned,

A) UN : The P5 order become already old and dose not reflect Present reality. The P5 nations don't want to loose their power thats why they are delaying. No One can stop India to become Member not even China in future or else the UN may get collapse which no one wants. No One can ignore India and top 5 economy, and world most populated country and a military power also.


B) Military : With Russia and now US, France and EU willing to share Advance Technology with India and the way India is making progress in developing its own H/w system, its not long India will become like EU in future.

C) Military :
By 2020:
1) Anti-Sat system in place
2) 5th Gen Plane in Place
3) indian developing own Tank, 155 mm Guns,etc
4) AC, Nuclear Subs and its designed ships in place

D) Alliance: With Japan, Aus, US, Vietnam alliance will expande further.

I still don't know what rise are Indian members trolling about. The gap between China and India increases everyday. This economic crisis is exposing what India truly is. All the talk about how India is driven by organic growth, domestic demand, balanced economy has been proven 100% BS with the sharp slow down of GDP and capital exodus. The Indian economy is basically driven by spending speculation foreign hot money, and this is why they need to keep throwing the "India shining", "incredible India" BS so to entice more foreign investors to keep their economic mirage going. Any third world country with billions of trade deficit, BBB rating, hundreds of millions hungry population, and some world's richest billionaires (social economic justice hello?) has no business in the discussion of rising powers.
