I think now we can defend ourselves from malnutrition,poverty,hunger bla bla bombs ..especially from @RiazHaq

According to the FAO affiliated with UN, India was already better than PAkistan on the hunger issue. I used to cite it whenever PAkistanis would use the GHI to mock India. I knew it was only about a matter of time when the GHI would update itself.

There is big difference in under 5 mortality rate between India and Pak.

This one news pissed me off..... In 1990 India's GHI Index was at 30.1
In 1996 it improved to 22.6 , but
In 2001 it lost a few points falling down to 24.2 ,
In 2012 it Improved to 22.9
Bottom line is ,our GHI remaind almost constant in 16(1996-2012) forking years
Good that we are Improving nw and has moved out of Alarming nation category.Hope we reach a below '5' par score in a decade at most

We always provide latest data and the context of the data he provides. He is always proven wrong. When his data is correct, which is rare , we acknowledge it. You of course choose not to see it.

Anyway, don't deviate from the topic of the thread. You should ideally think right now more about how to regain the lead you had on Hunger against India till a few years back.
