I thought Indians claimed they've more than enough PPE to spare

. .
I see the @grey boy 2 is busy making friends and influencing people.
I thought India was doing good ....just checked only 324 deaths so far.
I'd trade those numbers with India any day and twice on a Sunday.

CPC trolls are of course busy scouring to nitpick anything and everything (given blowback volume they are getting from everyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together)....while they also have to defend the volume of reality seeping through their very transparent and credible numbers back home.

Very amusing to watch them now.

Feel very bad for the ever-mounting number of victims of their glolious govt's BS though. Banning winnie the pooh is one thing....this kind of crap is whole different level of impact. They will have to learn it the hard way, seems message not getting through in nicer common sense way.

India is doing 0.1 COVID-19 tests per 1,000 people, Low tests, Low numbers.

Nah! Grey Boy2 is just complicated - known him for many years. He is one of the good guys.

India is doing 0.1 COVID-19 tests per 1,000 people, Low tests, Low numbers.

I was talking about the death toll - unless that number is unreliable in India?

As of today, India has 10453 conformed cases, Of which, Sadly 358 cases have died, And these numbers are coming from 0.1 COVID-19 tests per 1,000 people.

And you are up to date on ICMR strategy, analysis and optimisation regarding this?

If you are somehow insinuating that the COVID death toll in India is less because of inadequate testing then it's a misinformed rant. Testing guidelines were amended long back in the country to subject all cases of pneumonia/SARI to RT-PCR.

Unlike China, it will be impossible to hide death toll in a country like India. We are doing well till now owing to the proactive steps undertaken by our Central and respective state governments.

I have first hand information about how contact tracing of confirmed cases were completed within hours and all of them taken to quarantine. It's been a herculean task considering the area and population of our country.

Once this pandemic is done with, countries and organisations will line up to commend us on a job well done.

Indians desperate to get world attention at the cost of millions and millions of poor, very poor Indians starving in the lock down.

Useless criteria.

Heart Damage in COVID-19 Patients Puzzles Doctors

While the focus of the COVID-19 pandemic has been on respiratory problems and securing enough ventilators, doctors on the front lines are grappling with a new medical mystery.

In addition to lung damage, many COVID-19 patients are also developing heart problems—and dying of cardiac arrest.

As more data comes in from China and Italy, as well as Washington state and New York, more cardiac experts are coming to believe the COVID-19 virus can infect the heart muscle. An initial study found cardiac damage in as many as 1 in 5 patients, leading to heart failure and death even among those who show no signs of respiratory distress.

I have first hand information about how contact tracing of confirmed cases were completed within hours and all of them taken to quarantine. It's been a herculean task considering the area and population of our country.
The only thing that is stopping the COVID-19 in India right now is the lock downs, Not the contact tracing.

Useless criteria.
Why limit yourself to cardiac manifestations of CoV-2,let us also mention cytokine release syndrome, septic shock, renal and hepatic complications etc.

None of this will negate the fact that Sars Cov-2 is an infection primarily of respiratory tract, and if we were to diagnose correctly it should be directed towards the LRTI/URTI segment.

Most common cause of death in Covid cases is complicated respiratory infection sequelae.

Trolls like you don't understand that similar diagnostic criteria are used around the world.

So, You were saying death toll in India can't be inaccurate:
Why limit yourself to cardiac manifestations of CoV-2,let us also mention cytokine release syndrome, septic shock, renal and hepatic complications etc.

None of this will negate the fact that Sars Cov-2 is an infection primarily of respiratory tract, and if we were to diagnose correctly it should be directed towards the LRTI/URTI segment.

Most common cause of death in Covid cases is complicated respiratory infection sequelae.
While admitting it can be inaccurate:

Trolls like you don't understand that similar diagnostic criteria are used around the world.
Troll? That's rich! Coming from some delusional guy who thinks they're doing a fantastic job in contact tracing department with 0.1 COVID-19 tests per 1,000 people.
Once this pandemic is done with, countries and organisations will line up to commend us on a job well done.
Sure! More delusional thinking.

Of course, India has definitely managed better than many other nations...At least, I can assure you that India will not be the source for another global pandemic to kill thousands of people around the world...
Now coming to the point, having a billion-plus population and being a poor country, India has definitely far better than many other nations in your category...
