Despite it's origins, the predator now a days is synonymous with armed drones, as such the title can be very misleading.How so?
Well it depends on how you view it. To me calling it "India's Predator " doesn't at all imply it is a UCAV simply a MALE ISR UAV but there is scope to add weapons later (which there is). Now if the title had been "India's Reaper" then I'd be inclined to agree with you. To my knowledge more Predators are unarmed than armed to date (the Reaper is a different story), if the uneducated masses believe one thing it doesn't make it so.Despite it's origins, the predator now a days is synonymous with armed drones, as such the title can be very misleading.
