WTH??? The guy is shooting more like at point blank by standing just in front of the Bus. The place the chose to launch this attack indicates the attackers were either not trained well or they were so sure that they would get this ver bus alone. Under normal circumstances attackers were suppose to be taken out like ducks in such an open area. Normally its the turns of hilly areas which are best suited for launching any such attack to inflict heavy losses at enemy esp in first blow till element of surprise exists. None the less if this was a convoy then said very bus was suppose to have been protected by a rear QRF/armed Escort vehicle. Something somewhere did go severely wrong that gave attackers an edge and confidence to launch such a daring attack at quite an unusual place.

From Jan to till now this year around 64 terrorist have been eliminated, and the terrorism in the Kashmir is taking the last breath.

As a matter of fact there was a lull period because of almost no infiltration from Pakistani side but now its local Kashmiri youth who are taking arms and are being protected by the local population. In my view its a new flash point and homegrown version of struggle. And this one is damn difficult to control. This is why people in Delhi are more worried now.

What is more important to keep the security forces discipline. Take an example of this incidence, the friends or the other unit members of CRPF could have reacted and take the revenge from the local resident of that area of which most of them are innocient, and are unaware of the terrorist except couple of disguised person. Therefore Indian Army are only involved in certain cases and kept in the Cantonment Area, and CRPF and local J&K police are responsible for the law and order of the valley. Also don't assume, they are supported by the local population, because everyone fear for its life and you might not be aware of the local village forces to defend itself from the terrorists.

Actually there has been a significant fall in number of locals joining militancy this year:

Were there Pakistani passport with them with LT written as identity mark? How Indian security forces came to the coclusion that they were from LT?
P.S Pakistani passports are fire proof, cut proof everything proof. Even messiles cant destroy them....if they were Pakistanis(sure they were) passports must be in there pockects.

Looks like this is the standard operating procedure adopted by criminals for any activity in India.

1. Call India media and share your identity being a Pakistani.
2. Parcel them proof and evidences of Pakistan's involvement in activities upfront.
3. Get assurance from Indian media and Indian police (+ intelligence) that they won't be caught despite revealing everything and their details will only be published in the second minute after they strike.
4. Do anything inhuman.
