Does ruppenews qualify as an authoritative source to you? There are western sources saying that Pakistan got only a 20kt yield at Chagai, even though Pakistan claims that it was 36kt. On the other hand, India claims it got 40kt, while foreign sources say it was around that same number.

What source deems it a failure?
