Sure, we can still trade to central Asia using Iran. It's a win-win for both India and Iran. We develop the port, we hand it over after making enough profits.

India is using Iran as pawn. PN should show extreme presence in the region and also China. This is strategic port, won't let India come close to Pakistan water in the name of Afghan trade. But, nobody knows the laws for trade ship routes in national or international waters. Or only Iranian flag carrier vessel allow to pass through 70 miles radius.
