India should go ahead and divert the water with huge dams (In such a way that if pakistan send non state actor to blow them it causes flood inside pakistan, it will act as a insurance for them)

wow you are saying like we have just those rivers which orignates from indian kashmir river indus is being fed by many major tributaries which are inside pakistan and one of the source of indus river is baltoro glacier world's biggest glacier out side polar system and dnt forget swat river , chitral river , hunza river , kunhar river which runs inside the valleys all over the north and fall in indus river .. by building dam over indus will reduce water flow but it will not end the Mighty Indus river

India don't have to do anything to strangle pak's economy.. All India has to do is hike it's own defence budget.. & pak's economy will be stretched to the core. It's just that the establishment in Pakistan spends too much time in ensuring their political survival instead of giving any effective governance. Listen to some sane voices in Pakistan.. it will tell you that Pakistan itself is to blame for this water crisis due to lack of an effective water management policy.
This is what rulers in Pakistan do. To mask their own shortcomings in governance & to divert the public anger.. easiest thing to do is pass the blame on to someone you despise the most. Job done...

We also have almost same amount of Muslims in India like Pakistan, These evil Hindus never killed or forcibly converted those Muslims to Hindus... Like the latter part of Muslim rulers did!

A Muslim was head of Indian Missile Program and there are couple of Muslim presidents.... Every one respects them and call him beloved leader.
A Muslim was the head of third largest software company in India.
A Muslim was the head of largest Bio-chemical firm in India.

We have many Muslim friends in all walks of life.

Don't look everything in religion point of view... Keep religion behind your closed doors.

You see, Gujarat was a sad incident... You cannot keep on living on the past.... Can a Hindu or a Sikh can play cricket in Pakistan national team... Pakistan is a Islamic republic, so it is OK, Let's not delve much into that.

The Gujarati or all Indian Muslims for that matter has not emigrated to Pakistan after the 2002 incident! Why are you always seeing the negative part, move on... How many millionaires in Pakistan are non-Muslims? Gujarat's GDP is so high today and the muslims are there in Gujarat itself.

Violence against Christians happened in Pakistan too, You know the reason why they were attacked. Reg Sikhs.. It happened during 1984 after Indira assassination. There were many hindus who lived near by had protected the sikhs too... You don't have heart to appreciate that?

Nope you were only finding slightest of the reason to be anti-India... Some time back even Pakistani Foreign minister had accused the water mismanagement. We can fight all day... But it is not going to help any one. Why can we work together and station a Pakistani officer to calculate how much water is actually generated from the glaciers and out of which how much Pakistan gets and get the discussions going for getting more water and about run of water rivers.

You are at the receiving end... So it is not wrong to be polite. If discussions is not fruitful, Go to International court and get a third party observer, Who overlooks the claims and advice's UN.

It is the Supreme Court which has directed the Indian Govt to implement the inter-linking of rivers. And the plan is to ensure that the water is readily available to more people. If Pakistan is interested, they should be made a part of the project. The guys who need the water the most are hardly the kind who go to war. We drink bottled water and have 24x7 access to water - but for the rest it is a daily chore just to get a bucket. I was talking to a cabbie in Bombay the other day and he was telling me - he has to literally wait for an hour to get one bucket of water.
