Hi,
It is tragic and it is sarcastically funny as well---.
What is "tragic and it is sarcastically funny as well"?
That a woman (aren't they supposed to be "naqisul aqal"?) and that too belonging to a minority faith could work in a large scientific establishments with thousands of scientists belonging to all other faiths?
That she even had the opportunity to head it despite the inevitable competition from thousands of others highly competent people?
That she didn't have to convert to the majority religion to succeed in her career, like a certain cricketer in our neighborhood had to do?
But I understand that we can't satisfy you ever. You have set such high standards for treatment of minorities in the Islamic world in general, Pakistan in particular and in your Pushtun community (just guessing by your nick) in specific.
Bamiyan Buddha was just the seal on that, if any was needed.
After all, we don't have the final and perfect God given system. unlike you.
We just can't match you.
On second thoughts, I am not sure we want to do that.
Hi,
So very true----the execution and burnng to death 3000 plus muslims is no big deal---hehn----india is so big----3000 killed on one end---- a million hugged and kissed on the other end---it all evens out---.
The official toll was 780 Muslims and 280 Hindus.
Of course, the kaffir Hindu lives don't count for you faithful. We understand. Nor the Godhra atrocity.
Nor the fact that several times that number has been at the receiving end in your own country. Shia, Pushtun, Sufi followers, Mohajirs, tribals as IDPs and so on.
You retain the right to preach to us!
