India's Mars Mission hits first hurdle

.
Indian succeed in the 1st phase of Mars mission, launch a probe into space is easy part but to reboot and continue journey to Mars is the hardest part, probably Indian still lacking the technology know how to reboot to power the Mars probe in the orbit. Give Indian Mars probe another week they will completely losing contact with their Mar mission same as the Russian Mars mission after they launched into the orbit.

Hey Sincity,

What the hell are you talking about?

The projected apogee has been achieved this morning at 5.00 MM.

It delights you Chinese and Pakistanis that India fails in this projects.

The truth is that you would be eating a humble pie.

I have no respect for Abdus Salam. He did not own SUPARCO. He just happened to be one of the top scientist at that time and the dictator awarded him accordingly. To me he's just a kafir.

SUPARCO as an agency will only move forward when hundreds of millions of dollars are pumped into it year-after-year.

Well, guess I was barking up the wrong tree. In my country truckloads of 'kaafirs' built rockets sent probes to the moon and what not.

.
Now I don't get it why every news report includes this un-necessary statement...
I have been following Mars mission for months and have seen this statement in almost every report...
Sick and Lame Journalism .... :hitwall:
Exactly, they are mocking themselves and thereby embarrassing us also!! But I think it's because of getting attention, jingoism, competition with each other(among news channels) etc..
ISRO: Mars Orbiter Mission

Fourth supplementary orbit raising manoeuvre of Mars Orbiter Spacecraft, starting at 05:03:50 hrs(IST) on Nov 12, 2013, with a burn Time of 303.8 seconds has been successfully completed. The observed change in Apogee is from 78276km to 118642km

See, the fruit of patience...If the MOM leaves earth smoothly then I think it will be 60-70% successful.
