India's longest-range missile ready for test launch: official

Neo,
There is nothing to bring it on. All of Pakistan and even the Middle-East has already been covered with India's earlier missiles. This one is exclusively for China.

We are going to see some more Chinese assistance for Pakistan after India tests its Agni III, but thats always expected ;)

.
Indeed, Indian current aresenal already covers all of Pakistan but we need Tipu to cover whole of India.
I expect the missile to be testfired shortly after the Indian A-III to demonstrate our capability.

And btw, we don't need chinese assistance in adding up range to our multi stage solid fuelled missiles. :)

But you do need them for guidance, war heads, command and control and other allied systems.

If you think adding up range on a multi stage rocket is as easy as slapping an extra booster, you are wrong.

We need guidance system from China, analysts believe that China already shares data from its spysatellites with Pakistan.
I believe we have gained enough expertise in warhead, command and control to adapt the technology to newer designs..:)

Guidance is not about satellites...it would be a far better thing to dismantle your nuclear arsenal than to depend on a third party to guide your nuclear missiles. :)

Reg. Pak capablities.Ask Suparco.

We both know that Pakistan will answer in an approperiate way as such events go tit-for-tat.

There is nothing Tit-for-Tat here....

Gathering Storm against who? If you get the authority of Indian Armed Forces, by now India would have been destroyed.

The Agni III is nothing better than Shaheen II, the range and payload is almost the same and proportionate.

Shaheen-II range is somewhere 2500kms.

Agni-II is 2500 KMS.

Agni-III is 4000kms
