Also the deal is a package which include several other deal like brahmos, (already inducted by army, navy), Akula sub. which come at next month, gorshkov deal finalize, Tu-23M in service. But it is not admit in public by both government

this isz what the missile is actually designed for dude. Some sources quoted they are trying to convert this missile to be used as a long range SAM ill post the sources later couldnt find them

Novator K-100 (formerly R-172/KS-172-S1) and the Vympel' R-37 [Ed: AA-13 Arrow] have a range circa 300 to 400 kilometres. Flying above 40,000 feet, the Sukhois can easily detect the AEW&C or MMRT at this range with their BARS radar – the new Tikhomirov NIIP Irbis-E will just improve matters for a Sukhoi driver. So they can launch and destroy these big aircraft at very long ranges.

if this missile K-100 was developed only for PAF then whole money is wasted for sure..
