when it was started no one knew who the real owners of this shady airline is...still remember the headline of the article written in some business magazine at that time...that title was "can the owner of jet airways please stand up"...lol.

It was in trouble for many years. There are more airlines ready to fail. They cannot compete with the established ME hubs anymore.

Only quality competitors like Turkish Airlines, Thai and some EU airlines are stable.

For god's sake read up on the issue so u can find the reason for jet fiasco...and no its not because of air space closure. this is like 3rd thread on jet relating its difficulties to air space closure.

BTW, Kumho conglomerate of South korea is selling off Asiana Airlines and 2 other budget ones....thats also coz of air space closure. Kumho isnt able to sustain Asiana's operation due to pak airspace closure.

Yeah its not a shady airline...its India's oldest private full service airline..
