India has no such expertise and i am not saying that they cant develop them but it will take way tooo long time and the project will become another LCA.

I would be really happy happy if it completes in that time-frame. Even US took this much time in developing their 5th gen fighters. But i think it won't take this much time because of the response that India got in that RFI. That RFI was sent just to know what is the status of these kind of machines. I think we will definitely be taking help from various European nations, Israel and Russia for this project.
