I can't believe why an unknown minister like Mr Dinesh Tiwari would the 2nd most hated by the youth.

I can't believe why an unknown minister like Mr Dinesh Tiwari would the 2nd most hated by the youth.

Bcs he is the railway minister and there are very few Indians whose life is not touched by railways in one way or another. Hate towards railway transforms into hate for the minister heading it.

Actually to a large extent he was responsible to bring the development and attract industries into this region [Pune down to Kolhapur]. Also he enjoys major support from the farmers. The farming is well developed and the an average farmer earns quite well because of the good transport network which most people say happened because of him taking an initiative at a time when surfaced roads were not witnessed in the eastern part of the state.

All said, he is still too corrupt but banks on his work done decades ago.

1}Mr Jairam Ramesh:- Ex Environment and Forest minister and presently holding Rural development Minstry.....Mining Mafia ka band bajana ho ya Lawasa project ka all credit goes to him....

2}Mr Ajay Maken:- Sports Minister...he working on taming the Politicians hold on sports in India...specialy BCCI and IOA

The verdict is out. Young India hates Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar the most while Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are next in line.

BJP veteran L.K. Advani occupies the fourth place on the 'national hate meter' of the youth and his party president Nitin Gadkari is ranked fifth.

CPM general secretary Prakash Karat occupies the sixth slot followed by DMK chief M. Karunanidhi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, respectively.

Home Minister P. Chidambaram is hated just marginally more than Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is followed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi at 11th position with Petroleum Minister S. Jaipal Reddy next in line.

An India Today opinion poll, conducted after Delhi youth, Harvinder Singh, slapped Pawar on November 24, shows that the agriculture minister is hated the most because he has "allowed foodgrain to rot and people to starve".

The survey, to be published in the news magazine's December 12 issue, points out that NCP leader's jet-set lifestyle - "he takes off to South Africa on a private jet to win an international cricket election" - adds to the youth's anger.

The opinion poll was conducted among 2,500 respondents (between the age group of 18-25 years) in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore.

Interestingly, it has found that Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi is more hated (at 14th position) than Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, who is placed next, followed by Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Leading Team Anna baiters from the Congress - Kapil Sibal (18th), Manish Tewari (20th) and Digvijaya Singh (25th) -also figure on the hate list. So do RJD president Lalu Prasad (13th), Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav (26th) and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (31st).

The Union ministers who figure in the list include Salman Khurshid (22nd), Pranab Mukherjee (23rd), Kamal Nath (24th), A.K. Antony (27th), Jairam Ramesh (28th), Anand Sharma (29th), Ambika Soni (30th) and Vayalar Ravi (32nd).

"Only those politicians who refuse to invest in the future of India will dare to underestimate the power of this angry generation. India is growing younger as a country," the poll says.

"They (the youth) were in the vanguard of the Anna Hazare movement, which made them not only active stakeholders in Indian democracy, but also made them aware of the status of morality in politics," it adds.

Dis-pointed to see Manmohan in the list. He is not a politician, he is economist and a good one. He is not running the govt, Its run by Sonia & Pranab. I wish if he could serve next five year term too.

I very much doubt if there was a survey or it is just a rate chart prepared by some journalist.
I have not heard anything about dinesh tiwari, good or bad.

Sharad Power is one among the good politicians much better than karunanidhi and lalu.

This is totally ridiculous, Pawar is Agriculture Minister of India not Agriculture Minister of Kohlapur. He with help of big whole salers and Sugar Manufacturers looted the poor Indians including farmers by just creating panic through media about wrongfully yelling that sugarcane crop production is low in India that year. Due to this criminal act of Pawar. sugar prices sky rocketed from Rs.18-19 to Rs.40+. He should be hanged publicly for promoting Black Marketing & causing suffering to the common man of India.

Shame on them, who still supporting the Leech!!!!!!!!!!.

no doubt sharad pawar is most hated politician. just go on youtube & see there are millions of hits on sharad pawar slapping videos with abuses from almost everyone on comment list. he being a agriculture minister don't know anything abt agricultural situation in india. whenever he is asked abt increasing food prices or mismanagement of food grains he has no answer instead he shamelessly say i don't know anything or this thing do not fall under my ministry. on the other side he know everything abt cricket.
