The author as normal points out the obvious but gives no answers on how to get rid of these problems.
If your going to take the time to find out what the problems are , take just a bit longer and find a real solution that is not just fancy words but something concrete.

the point is before partition , Both Indian and pakistani were same people ,has same history and connected by same administrative system.

So we carry both some the common weakness of the system.

But ultimately,our leadership was rugged and trained after several decades of struggle with British,in your leadership were aristocratic and inexperienced (except jinnah and Liaqat ali khan).

one goes coups after coups and another were more accommodative.

But still caste and religion factor is huge in both India and Pakistan.

Ontopic: We tried to remove feudalism. Its no more feudal society, except some part of country. But yes, people are divided based on caste, religion, language etc, which is expected from such diverse country.

What is happening in India is inevitable, and democracy keeps us united to face those challenges.

Pakistan is also on the same route, without regular army rule, feudalism would have been much less by now. Its a slow process.

Unfortunately, most of the facts mentioned in the article is true about India. There is so much to do. Nearly 40% of the population is driving the India shining campaign. We need at least 80% of the population to contribute to the nation economically and intellectually. Fortunately, the pace at which things are going , it would not be a dream in the near future(at least a couple of decades is needed).
