What's new

India's efforts to help friend and neighbors

LOL.

There was no wordsmithery there. Some erudite culture-mongering perhaps (that there is wordsmithery), no wordsmithery.

The Greek chorus generally agrees with the protagonist, and adds details that he/she knows but the audience does not

Protagonist: Would that Megabytos of far-flighted Harddiskos were, in this my most parlous plight!
Chorus: Had he been here today, your grandsire of pious memory,
That odious flea-bitten hound licking you to death
Had been sundered in twain, as was the poodle
Of the sister-in-law of the wife of the colonel
Struck limb from limb by the back-scratcher
Of the Adjutant launched like Zeus' thunderbolt
From his overarching startled eyebrows.

So the protagonist gets the quick, snappy bits of dialogue, SO good to keep the action moving along, while all the heavy-lifting (In what trouble is the protag.? Who was he thinking about at that terrible poignant moment? How had the hero in his thoughts solved his own problem? What weapons did he use for the deed? and so on)

But what we got instead was

Is that you, third from right?
Beyond demonstrating your noteworthy grounding in classical literary works and contemporary dance, I'm never quite sure what your posts to me are intended to achieve.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were simply trying to distract and disrupt me through inane background chatter - oh wait, actually, I figured that out a while back.

Do you have any novel party tricks or is it all simply as I imagine: days spent in solitude swirling a glass of Teacher's, adjusting your monocle and periodically hissing when a family member or servant opens the door accidentally, all while "plotting world domination" from your trusted armchair?

I highlighted "bread", which is what I was referring to. I wasn't referring to toasters at all.

...if you didn't pick up on that, maybe India needs to build more libraries in India.

I meant sliced bread. The kind you put in toasters. Shit happens when you are answering from the mobile.

I'm not sure either. Perhaps it is a reaching out to the brand from the fire, an attempt to recover the current El Sidd with his trouser zipped up that you are.

Maybe that was presumptuous and stupid. Maybe it is better to stick to plain and factual response, as you seem to be hinting.

Fair enough.

Very accurate, except that you got the wrong furry animal.I bark, I don't hiss. Also I can't afford even Teacher's any more, although I would keep it for unwelcome guests earlier. Since I can't stand IMFL, I don't drink any more.

Apart from that, thank you for the brilliant insightful depiction.

Clearly you haven't been doing enough for me lately. Please see the red patches above and get a move on.

Supreme court building in Mauritius inaugurated !

The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Pravind Jugnauth, the Mauritius Prime Minister have inaugurated the new Supreme Court in the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis with Indian grant assistance, reflecting New Delhi’s sharpened focus on its “neighbourhood first” policy. The new Supreme court in Port Louis is one of the five projects that are under the US$353-million special economic package extended by India in 2016 and is the first India-assisted infrastructure project in the capital of Mauritius

How is that an example of India 'helping' Bangladesh ?

Please, I must implore you to conduct a little research before making such nonsensical statements.

Some fictitious 'help' this is.

This is all very disconcerting, I'm part amused at your audacity or daftness (whichever is more applicable) and outrage.

These containers all full of Indian goods destined for the Indian North East. We are letting you USE our ports for a nominal fee (loss for us) and prioritizing your shipments over ours.

we are DOING YOU THE FAVOUR, we are making sure the ungrateful, bigoted, congenitally Bengali hating axomis don't go hungry.

Do not expect to twist facts and get away with it.

You use our roads, bridges, sea ports, river ports, riverine waterways to ship goods to your North Eastern territories.

Read more on actual news here

As much as these figments of your imagination entertain me, I'd rather you stick to reality, make statements grounded in reality, be more factual.

Integrity is a core human value, once lost, it's irretrievable.

What's wrong with cooperation. You Help us we help you.
This kind of project cannot exist without goodwill. It seems BD Govt. thinks on different lines. I'm happy to see that something positive is coming out and reported in testing times.

PS: I do agree and see that thread title can be updated.

Thank you for favors. I'm under impression it's a good trade off and step in right direction. We can agree to disagree.

I'm intrigue by the highlighted part, please elaborate.
