How about the freedom in India to eat what you want and believe what you want? Isn't India the only "democracy " to constitutionally ban a certain kind of meat ( with heavy punishment for violations) and legally require permission to change one's personal beliefs?

Nobody gets lynched for eating horse meat in UK and I have personally eaten horse meat in Japan. Horse meat is neither banned in the UK nor anywhere in Europe. Horse meat is commonly used to make pet foods and supplied for consumption to carnivores in British zoos.
