Agree with you! on the C17. Growler can wait till we have conventional systems in place. We are still filling the backlog and up-gradation negligence. Once when we break even we can look at future systems. Yes all this need to be accelerated before we again become negligent.

I think India is going for something similar to that of Growler on MKI/Mig-27 and Tejas. But Growler is the best.

Its a Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) aircraft, meant for jamming enemy defenses, no comparison with C-17.

Am suggesting Growler for equally better utilization of our funds.

We need to utilize our funds in the most efficient manner.

Though we have a 30B+ USD defence budget, we should ensure that we have all the possible variety in our arsenal.

10 C-17's already ordered, more can be ordered later.

Dude, Growler is on offer to India. But IAF have never shown interest in it.
