@topic : Pakistan should test 100 locomotive engines and should experience it.. If they are not good then its ok we will accept it, but if they are good then it will be a win-win situation for the countries.. U'll get new engines to handle your railways which is currently suffering from a real bad time, admit it you need Indian locos because looking at German engines they are expensive compared to indian one, and I m not going talk about Chinese one, article had already mentioned it..

1) running a german engine requires proper quality and maintainence of the tracks---these guys dont care about maintaining the engines...so you cant expect them to maintain the tracks....

2)costly.....(using a better german engine is ok, but using it on bad tracke --a waste of money)

if you want to run on same rag-tag tracks in south asia-either get Indian or Chinese engines...then again Pakistan had problems with the chinese ones...so best bet would be to procure a few Indian ones and use them...if they like it they can buy more.....

well you should go after something which is 100 times below the inferior quality stuff..becoz that is what you most probably can afford and might fit your image!!
