gg india its good to see your govt working to increase export!

Sindh produces huge quantity of banana but lack of education and govt support we dont export much i wont call smuggling banana to Afg or Iran export there is huge market in UAE but our whole system is focused only on grabbing land and launchign societies without realizing that if they keep fucking the economy they wont have buyers left to buy homes in their DHAS!

Yelakki bananas. Very tasty. I eat them every day. They have longer shelf life too
yeah ! that looks like the one, tasty little things. They grow wild everywhere down south near my place. Also true, they do last a lot longer than other varieties.

In Kerala there grows a big red banana, I absolutely hate it. In my previous company we used to joke that a person's preference for banana type is an indicator of his own d*** size. My Mallu colleagues used to tease me for my love of Yelakki bananas.

Pakistan should learn from India. Now they are making money by exporting this huge amount of bananas.

Interesting, I had no idea, doubt I've ever seen them.

Apart from the fruit itself, they also do a variety of subzis with banana.. they make one at home in Dilli.. absolutely disgusting, kele ke chilkay ki subzi

:hang2:

found some of the south Indian preparations much more pleasant, do a thali on a banana leaf and there's some random banana subzi among 12 other ones lol

banana chips are also gross, they fry them in coconut oil, cant stand those either, banana lassis otoh.. ooh-la-la ! nothing like a banana (or mango) lassi to beat the oppressive heat up in the north where I am for now.. I'll take pics, planning to head to a lassi place on the weekend.

I prefer those small ones that you get down south in the tropics, anyone know what they're called ?

In BD we call them Chapa Kola.
