Featured India’s Ajit Doval leaves the SCO meeting after seeing Kashmir map behind Pakistani delegation.

Change your name to "whine_again" and I promise I'll reply.

That is why Tajikstan rejected Indian base on their territory, they didn't want to antagonize Pakistan. India lost their embassies (terror camps) in Afghanistan to Taliban and were looking for other countries to host them.

China even used investment to set Iran back in line and to drop their antagonism to Pakistan, which benefitted only India.

Today Uzbekistan is undergoing its own Islamization campaign and ideologically, politically becoming closer to Pakistan.

Central Asia and Xinjiang share large cultural, racial similarities with Pakistanis. The future of the region is to solify into a bloc, which includes Turkey, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

In this scenario, CPEC is crucial for Pakistan, as is Taliban government in Afghanistan.

.
Next meeting, Pakistan will surely not have that map in the background.

Pakistani politicizing every forum. It killed SAARC with its constant Kashmir rhetoric. Now they are turning to SCO. This leaves a bad taste for other participants who are not bothered about our issues.
are we ? you are imposing your views on different countries, international relations dont work like this..
it is india who walked out,
have we walked out of india meeting where india displaces its map?

india is acting like a super power, news flash..it is not a super power

Pakistani delegation was headed by Doctor Moeed Yousaf, who previously served at the US Institute of Peace and currently serving as the PM of Pakistan’s advisory on Foreign and Security issues.

Ajit Doval, from the Indian side, left the meeting in order to protest that the map should not be placed behind the Pakistani delegation and that Pakistan’s assumption to re-raise the issue of Kashmir is unacceptable, as India believes that Kashmir is an internal matter and should be left likewise.

Did his walk-out from the meeting was productive or not, It hard to gather but one thing is for sure the absence of India is clearly obvious, which to his surprise is doing the quite opposite. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss possible security collaboration between the SCO members. SCO’s National Security Advisor’s [NSA] meeting is held in order to discuss regional security collaboration between the member states.

Pakistan has always stood with the people of Kashmir, and will rightfully do so in the near future. There is only one peaceful solution to Kashmir which is to let the Kashmiris decide which side they want to go or have an independent Kashmir altogether. Unless India gives them their right, Pakistan will raise the Kashmir issue at every present forum.

Just as the UNSC provides for protecting interests (political) of some countries, India too shall use its veto where needed for its benefit in the SCO.
Nothing different than what China has done to India anecdotally.
The point is, Pakistan wouldn't and couldn't be a part of SCO without Russsian demand for India having a seat on the table. Now its for you guys to figure out how to skirt India (and in essence Russian) veto.
Have at it. We will do what is best for us, as you should do in your interest.

Let's see who pulls what, but India is here to stay.
What veto power? Ok I get it, India is a super power. The goal was to be a super power by 2020 and yes that goal has been achieved. This is how:

1. India has the second largest level of Covid19 infections in the world after the US.
2. India has the largest population in the world that defecates in the open.
3. India has the largest population in the world living below the poverty line I.e. less than one dollar a day.

such a great super power with its veto power. I am so envious.

Leave the SCO and let go of a chance to derail and veto any developments that may benefit Pakistan? Never!
We will be there, lock, stock and barrel and we will troll. Ukhad lo jo ukhadna hai lolol

Better start calling this the Shanghai Non-Cooperation Organization moving forward lol
Due to India's repetitive childish behaviour India should be kicked out.

India is an obsessed Dehati Aurat (village lady) which is always screaming Pakistan, Muslims, İslam constantly.

It was actually Indian standard pracrice to go to every country and tell them not to trade with or have delegations with Pakistan. this is how obsessed they are.

Now it is starting to backfire. Indian cheap mentality is there for all to see.

These fools have even destroyed international cricket due to their jealous and hateful antics.

India faces defeat at SCO NSA’s meeting
The Frontier Post / September 15, 2020
ISLAMABAD (APP): The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held its online meeting of National Security Advisors where India’s spurious claims were rejected as it faced defeat after its formal objection to Pakistan’s new political map as background display of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Dr. Moeed Yusuf were overruled.
India, which was being represented by Ajit Doval, had formally raised an objection against Pakistan on the display of the political map as background for the meeting a day earlier by falsely claiming that the new political map showed ‘sovereign Indian territories’ as part of Pakistan, said a press release.
In its reply, Pakistan highlighted that India under international law had no legal rights to claim the internationally recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir as part of India.
Pakistan also categorically rejected Indian assertions that the newly released political map included any part of Indian territory.
Pakistan informed SCO secretariat that India’s illegal and unilateral actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) were in grave violation of the UN Charter and UNSC resolutions on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
Furthermore, Pakistan emphasized that the new political map represented Pakistan’s rights and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. It emphasized that Pakistan retains an abiding commitment to seeking a resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute through a free and impartial plebiscite in accordance with the UN Charter and UNSC resolutions.
The SCO agreed to Pakistan’s position and Dr. Moeed Yusuf conducted the SCO meeting with Pakistan’s new political map as background for the discussions. Once again, India’s attempts to make a significant multilateral forum subject to petty bilateral debate failed and Pakistan’s new political map and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people were highlighted during the meeting of National Security Advisors of SCO member states.

Why Is Pakistan Claiming Diplomatic Victory After India Walks-Out From SCO Meet?

India on Tuesday walked out of a virtual meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) after member states overruled New Delhi’s objection on the projection of Pakistan’s new map at the meeting.

Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Anurag Srivastava said in a statement that the Indian side left the meeting in “protest” and that projection of the “fictitious map” by Pakistan was “in violation of the norms of the meeting.”

“At the meeting of the National Security Advisers (NSAs) of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), hosted by the Chair of the SCO (Russia), the Pakistani NSA deliberately projected a fictitious map that Pakistan has recently been propagating,” said a statement issued by Srivastava.

“This was in blatant disregard to the advisory by the host against it and in violation of the norms of the meeting. After consultation with the host, the Indian side left the meeting in protest at that juncture.”

It added: “As was to be expected, Pakistan then went on to present a misleading view of this meeting.”

According to Pakistani officials, SCO member states rejected the Indian claim during the meeting and agreed to Islamabad’s position and its participating National Security Advisor, Moeed Yusuf, continued to take part with Pakistan’s new political map as a background for the discussions.

“[India faces defeat at SCO NSA’s meeting] Ajit Doval’s objections to Pakistan’s new political map overruled. Today, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held its online meeting of National Security Advisors where India’s spurious claims were rejected,” the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party tweeted from its official account.

Yusuf expressed displeasure over the Indian side’s walkout saying:

“Bizzarely, my Indian counterpart chose to walk out of Pakistan and Russia’s speech. Left a bad taste at a forum whose whole spirit is cooperation.”

“I highlighted that unilateral & illegal actions in an internationally recognized disputed territory of IIOJK [Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir] is a threat to regional peace & prosperity. I also apprised counterparts of Pak’s deep commitment to peace in Afghanistan through an Afghan-led & owned peace process,”

Yusuf said on Twitter.

He reiterated his country’s continued commitment to peace in the region and said Pakistan was committed to working with SCO member states to achieve peace and stability, economic security and connectivity.
Last month, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan unveiled a new map of the country that showed the entire disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its territory.

The new map marks the Himalayan region as “Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” unlike its former status as “disputed territory,” while showing that Kashmir shares a clear border with China.
India, for its part, called Islamabad’s move “an exercise in political absurdity.”

Recent tensions between the South Asian neighbors mounted following New Delhi’s unilateral decision to revoke decades-long special status of the Muslim-majority disputed valley.
On Aug. 5, 2019, the Indian government revoked Article 370 and other related provisions from its constitution, stripping the state of its autonomy and splitting it into two federally-administered territories.
Simultaneously, it locked down the region, detained thousands of residents, imposed movement restrictions and enforced a communications
blackout.

Measures have been eased but internet speeds are still restricted. People are also confined indoors because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
A two-day-long curfew was reimposed on Aug. 5, 2020 as Kashmiris marked the annexation anniversary as “black day.”

The picturesque Himalayan valley is held by India and Pakistan in parts and claimed by both in full. A small sliver is also held by China.

Since they were partitioned in 1947, the two countries have fought three wars — in 1948, 1965, and 1971 — two of them over Kashmir.
Some Kashmiri groups in Jammu and Kashmir have been fighting against Indian rule for independence, or unification with neighboring Pakistan.

We are all witnessing the worst India can do against Pakistan - there isn't really anything else except an all out war which is not happening. India was invited to SCO but it doesn’t mean it will be allowed to act as a spoiler of regional cooperation and integration. India and Pakistan have the same status in SCO as far as membership is concerned, so you are not the only one with so called veto.
The rejection of Indian objection just shows the limit of India - i.e all you will be doing is just staging walkouts huffing and puffing while rest of the players will keep doing business as normal. This means in no way India can make SCO dysfunctional as per your delusions of grandeur.
