Understood. But it is loan that means we have to repay it with a massive % of interest.
Have india already sent 1 billion as a whole or will be send part by part when india wish and AL have to fulfill india's manyyy demand of tax-less transit etc. etc

This Indian for that matter knows. This Indian also knows that Mujib tilted towards Middle-East countries and kept a distance from India for want of a better future of Bangladesh and Bangladeshish. The reason for declaring Bangladesh an Islamic state also because of the reason that Arab sheikhs would bail out the new Islamic Bangladesh which was almost stripped off wealth.

Well then why didnt you guys go knocking at the doors of the world bank? if you even had a slim chance of getting such a huge loan at lower interest rate? It's but obvious you couldn't, moreover you were not compelled to sign the deal, it's a win-win situation for both.

I'm sure u do have BRAINY leaders who really know what to look out for in a deal, and they should have done a good job at that.

Now please don't say this is a conspiracy as it was a huge news back in the day. And you denying it won't make it untrue. HOWEVER, since awami league came in power, the army and bdr has been dismantled. I dare your friend to enter Bangladesh on the next bnp regime and you will find his corpse.

the regime in power doesnt matter......its just 100 bucks bribe needed to enter bangladesh----my friend has entered even during BNP rule.....

besides if your BDR or Army was there why would this have happened (i.e. if its true)...is it not a part of negligence by Bangladesh. what about the police? no one was around to inform them about people who came in to take away your crops...what about the guy who had taken the picture that is on the first post with its claim...he was there with is camera....and was interested in getting a news rather than informing authorities ? common man it takes a lot of time to harvest a field (especially manually as shown in the picture.....someone -atleast the farms owner/local village people- would be there to protest or complain to authorities).....all these sugesst that the incident never happened ...its either that some one from your favored BNP is only interested in putting up fake news to mallign your current govt/ or to create a feeling of anmosity with india

We have debated about this before. The loan has many terms and conditions which is unfair on bangladesh's interest.

Last time India promise to rebuild a village which was destroyed by Cyclone Sidr but India did not rebuilt it ( we never request your visiting minister).
India agreed to sell rice to us but later india imposes more cost and the rice was not of a good quality.

According to the article SQ Chowdhury is responsible for the arms, whereas Awami doesn't even mention him. Be grateful that this arms were discovered by the BNP REGIME. If they were involved directly, the arms would be in India by now. This is pure awami propoganda.
