Not everyone is Woody Allen. But my experience has only been New Yorkers (and other Americans) and Israelis that have come to live in New York, as well as other parts of the US. With this many people around you get the full spectrum of personalities, but amongst the film making and critiquing crowd, you would expect someone that busts balls and gives it like he/she sees it. Their honest opinion is their livelihood. People want critics to have strong proud personalities (like an old school grandma picking fruit) they have to be able to tell if something is quality or not. Basically the Indians couldn’t con an Israeli critic and he called them out on their BS.
But yeah, if the Indians start trolling them, the teenagers I knew, will go to full meme warfare. All the “Pajeet” stuff will come flying thick and fast.
