A larger point on this is that the current wave of immigrants from south asia is similar to the first waves of sub-continent migrants to the US in the 70s and 80s, comprising of not very sophisticated immigrants mostly doing menial jobs.
Like in the US, their naturalised future generations should become model citizens.

I dont know what you are talking about but I say the ones who came to the US or at least here before the 1990s 2000s were a lot better since most were middle class and educated nowadays it's fairly mixed per se

Some of the reasons for the difference that you have pointed out:
a) AU attracts more farmers than the US has (in the 90s)
b) It is cheaper to move to AU/NZ than it is to move to the US
c) AU unis do not have as high entry barriers as the unis in the US have
d) The tech. market in AU is not as challenging as it is in the US (hence has more provisions for lesser skilled techies to find employment)

Diversity of the immigrant mix has a net positive effect over the fullness of time for the host country.
Although, a big factor determining the success of immigration policies is the host country's economic potential, specifically around the spread of economic centres (cities) within the country.
The US has had its industrial centres spread over many cities that have risen in prominence and have attracted immigrants, thus spreading the waves of immigration and thinning the burden that the 'new' people impose on the host population, giving the host population time to acclimatise to the diversity.
While AU and Can do not have such a vibrant economic base, look at AU, 90% commerce happens in just two cities which are bursting at the seams with immigrants, frustrating the host population in the process and leading to a net higher level of xenophobia.
Xenophobia if not handled, would reduce the chances of positive unbiased attitudes driving hiring and employment decisions involving immigrants and may cause the immigrant to engage in nefarious activities to sustain their life in a more expensive country. A good example is the hispanic migration into southern US, has been so poorly managed that the Americans are now more vary of them than they were in the 60s!
