Why there are so many indians on this forum? Seriously mods??

You go on any indian forums and see how long you survive after mentioning that you are from Pakistan (even you are discussing issue on the merits)

Mods on this forum are way too lininent and accepts bigoted and some time blatant anti Pakistani remarks from these indians.

Any connection between Mods on this forum with india?

I may get banned for these remarks but atleast i am asking a question that i now many Pakistanis on this forum are thinking:pakistan:.

.
Just debate dude. Don't get involved in these questions. Stick to what you think is right, be able to back what you say with creditable links. Then if you get banned, it shouldn't worry you. And there are a lot of Indians on here..but that is debate for you. I must be the only Malawian here ;)

No one is stopping you from opening your own forum with your own rules? The MODs are good and please leave them alone.

Regards

The forum is open really for anyone to join. It is an open debate thing. We cannot control which nationality registers the most. Like it has been said, just discuss. No need to think of wonder land theories of if moderators here are related to India or so.. If you look at the posts of moderators they are strictly professional based posts on reality - taking nothing in account. Of course there is a numerous biased by many Indians here, and their fantasy beliefs (including those which they might not agree with). My suggestions to every member would be to report the posts which are violating the rules of the forum, and the moderators will give appropriate warnings and deletions as per by the contents of the posts.

Thanks.

I don't know why you are worried about Indians here. Instead, the very present of Indians with the sheer number shows how tolerant, generous, even-handed and relatively neutral this forum is.

This is in a stark contrast to some Indian forums, as you perhaps have already observed, where only those ring euphoric sound to their MODs' ears remain; where racist and obscene languages are rampant; where Pakistanis, Chinese, Swedish, Americans,..., anyone who tries to voice slight different opinions are all baned.

What is the end result? I'm watching this forum's member growing steadily, to nearly amazing 8000, whereas that of other forums is basically stagnant.

Webby and Mods (be they Indian or not) are all doing greatly!

Let each focus on his/her own theory backed with facts, irrespective whether anybody else agrees or not.

My friend,

You are not going to get banned for this. There is no reason for us to ban you. I personally think Indians being here provide and get a different point of view which is to the benefit of both sides.

The biggest problem is that old members here think that new members have gone off the wall for making comments along the well known and stated lines of the two sides, and the new members (Pakistanis) think that mods are going easy. Its a challenging job for the mods (I do the least amount of moderating so I cannot claim the credit for a very credible job that Webby, Neo, Asim, AM, and Key do here. We all love Pakistan but are trying a bit of a different experiment here for which most other forums lack the stomach.

If you find something being said which requires the mods attention, please report the post and appropriate action will be taken.

Best regards

Indians give us pleasure in debate, pump us up to argue and rightfully fight/discuss our ***** off!

I don't understand why some are concerned about the presence of Indians or other non-Pakistani's on this board.

Isn't it a tribute itself that so many Indians have registered and earned reputation, that many of them want to share their precious time to debate us and educate us about Indian affairs on daily base?

Their presence is not only a tribute to this forum but also for our country since we represent Pakistan.

Try to think past boundries and you'll be able to see the beauty that lies beneath. To me many members are like gems...regardless their nationality. Its always a pleasure to read Sir Murad, Sir Salim, Mastan, Malaymisra, Bushroda, Kevlin, S2, Gpit to name a few.

We owe them gratitude, not attitude!

.
Indeed it is a pleasure to read what our Indian friends have to say. It doesn't matter that they are here, we must learn from each other. Their are things which the Indians know from which we can benefit from and their are things which we know that could benefit the Indians. We must learn to listen to each other. It is indeed a pleasure to have them here.

.
It is indeed a pleasure to have them here, but some totally take it for granted. Dont think you will last long if you take that privledge for granted. Defence.pk history is a proof of it.

I, as an Indian, would like to thank the Board authorities for their frankness in their views.

It was a pleasure to read the posts of Neo and Blain2 and the words from the Webmaster.

On the issue of biased views, views from India can never be the same as the views of Pakistan. That is very obvious. Yet, I would also like to add that many Indians do use caution while posting, even though this is a great forum that we visit. We do so because we would want to interact with Pakistanis and learn more of them and about them and shed and help shed our historical prejudices that is doing both of us no good. If Indians were to talk to Indians alone, or Pakistanis talk to Pakistanis, then we would be talking to ourselves and concretising our biases and not build bridges. We must build bridges and not destroy them with our historical biases.

I would also request that it matters not what Indian forums do or alleged to do. This is a forum, as I see it, totally different in approach to many forums, be they Indian or from anywhere in the world. One has to be a LEADER and not a Follower.

As Neo has said, that there are many Indians here, is a tribute to the people who run the forum and it is but a feather in their cap.

Mujahideens remark that we learn from interaction is worth note. I have learnt tremendous amount from this forum of the vibrancy of Pakistan. I have learnt more from this forum about SWAT and NWFP than what the world newspapers (including Pakistani ones) could offer, since real persons out in the turmoil there (or near there), have given their views. I have also learnt to share their joys and sorrows without the view from behind tinted glasses! In fact, I have a new perception of Pakistan! And it may surprise many, they are pleasant.

As Road Runner has said, debate! And as Janbaz has said discuss and hone your views.

True, by debate we shall be better human beings since there are many things we do not know, but what we should know, and to this extent, this forum has indeed benefited me.

I could not do without the daily dose of sanity from Neo, AM, Mastan, Fatman, Blain2 and many other, too many to enumerate. The thread on the Siachen should be seen, where instead of going haywire, some very sane discussion has occured and notes on very intersting historical issues exchanged.

Thank You.

Its glad to hear your "real' words brigadier. Because after debating and all the pissing contests there is a moment in which you realize and say that you learned and loved to interact.

No offence intended.

Best regards.

.
I didn't noticed it before, Salim are you a fan of Simon Templar?

.
Webmaster,

Hardly pissing contest.

If you read my posts you would have seen that I have always said what I have said here.

I am not saying anything new.

Maybe you missed these post of mine!

I learn from the forums because it is where real people talk.

This forum is important to me, since it allows me an insight and education of and from the Pakistani point of view.

Yes, I have been educated.

If you see the bean counter and the timeframe of such a count, you will realise that I have visisted this forum with great interest.

Obviously, I am too advanced in age to dabble in aimless banters of the type which is bias born.

Yet, bowing to your observation, if some drags me into such a contest, I would oblige, though with the necessary decorum of syntax, even if the other side does otherwise.

Since I am a member of this Forum, and since many of my friends on the Board (You, Admins and Mods) are doing a great and a thankless job, I wish it all on this Board (You, Admins and Mods)the best and may it come up smelling of roses.

That is why I am not for voted in Mods. Would sure be in the dumps if this Forum lost its pristine glory.

And that is my "real" view!
