Indians nationals devoted themselves in blood donation in China

Indian friends have spread some love and friendship in China, with over 350 Indian nationals donating blood at sixth annual blood drive in #Shanghai Blood Center on Sunday, reported ThePaper.cn.

Themed “Love Shanghai, Life Gift from India,” the amount of donated blood from Indian friends over the past six years has surpassed 1,000 packs, with 774 having been donated from 556 Indian nationals as of last year.

A blood donor from #India named Nipun Talwar, who has been living and working in Shanghai for seven years, donated 400 milliliters of blood on Sunday to show his affection for China.

Indian expats from other cities or areas also headed to Shanghai help those who in need for blood in China.

Last year’s blood drive in Yiwu, south China’s Zhejiang Province, collected 20,900ml of blood from 58 foreign businessmen.

In 2015, over 200 blood donors from home and abroad engaged in the blood drive, with more than 70% of the blood donors from India.
