Indians Burning over success of Waar.

He was one the greatest leader of India, doesn't matter what his opponent think of him . BTW I was watching some Pakistani movie of 1970s, the focus of the movie was grumbling about Gurdaspur's award to India.
So was Liaqat Ali Khan.....

.
You do realize cost of shooting just one song in here, cost more the the entire 'waar' budget. So what's the fuss about burning Indian?

.
i dont think so, as this movie has proved that we love our own movies more then foreigner's movies.
Any details about UK release?

I'm gonna go see it at the cinema if so, bring some of my Brit friends to see it with me.
More revenue for our film industry :pakistan:

.
270 Cinema halls & growing, how can you say its a low number?

That's a low number for a country of 180 million. Also a low number if you imagine an expensive film like this trying to turn some profit. If it doesn't turn a profit, all this hype and effort will go to waste.

It's up to people in Pakistan to go see it, properly and legally, rather than pirating.

As of now no details. But Director Bilal Lashari with his interview to Wall Street Journal said that the film will be released in 25 countries worldwide.

the fuzz is shown in video of this thread. And the actual indian fuzz is not its budget but its success.

@Aeronaut

This 250 figures is baseless and even some of news sources claimed we have 150 in total. And Some quoted figure of 90s like of 400 cinema centers. But the actual numbers r 700 in total and i can bet that this is right figure. Because in the times of Mushy the cinemas had grown rapidly thats how CINEPEX standard cinemas were made in Rawalpindi. And GOP has included a Must Clause in the contracts of Malls and commercial centers to include a Multicomplex type cinemas, thats how Centaurus got its own Multiplex Cinema in Islamabad. There r lot of Multiplexes being in development stage in DHA and Bahria Towns in Rawalpindi/Islamabad etc.

I know this because own an Advertisement Agency in Islamabad and most of my time is spend in Studios with these directors/produces and Models. To tell u truth we have edited a portion of upcoming movie Saya e Khuda e Zuljala and Hijrat.

Most Indians don't even know what WAAR has been about.

The media reaction has ranged from amused, to curiosity to rage.

Like everythingelse in this thread, it's just jingoistic chest thumping with no substance.

Cinema in Pakistan, fell because the film industry collapsed therefore reducing demand dramatically. Since our industry is on the mend, more cinemas are bound to recover.

More cinema halls are opening in Pakistan because of more and more Indian movies are being released in Pakistan...

.
Only an idiot will believe that people of a country are jealous because their neighboring country finally made a decent movie!:butcher:

.
Just curious, not fatwas against the film? I mean music/films are haraam, isn't it? Or everything is halaal if it is anti-India??

.
Has there ever been a moment when Indian asses are not burning?

.
Films on Yahoodi, Isaayi(Americans) as problem makers in Pakistan - can be expected super duper mega hit considering this latest trend.
