You know there is only Kashmir that's the issue between us. Politicians on both sides exploit this for personal benefit. They do not want a solution. People have to have a right to choose their destiny. Once this is sorted we have more in common than difference.

Frankly, it's either we agree to status quo and keep what we have now OR bleed each other until one nation dies.

No nation would ever agree to let people decide in these kinds of scenarios, be it India or Pakistan or any other country.

If Catalina can hold a referendum to be separate from Spain, there is nothing stopping Kashmir, UP, TN or Kerala from doing the same in India if allowed OR Punjab, Baluch and Your Kashmir at your side. All you need is few local leaders who can raise passion and temperature and see the break of a nation.

I think the boundary as they stand can be accepted but what cannot be accepted by all Pakistanis is to dump the IOK At the mercy of Indian army. They must have a say on their future. That's the main problem.

IMO your love for Kashmir is just a land grab. Eyeing the abundant natural resources. The same is India. It's one of the top source of water for our agricultural state Punjab. Giving it away is not going to happen even in the nth century. Kashmiri people are just a smoke screen.

India will not jeopardize the strategic locations including Siachin glaciers (being one of the largest fresh water source on earth), thereby making one of the most populous state and the national capital at such a close proximity to Pakistan.
As everyone says, water is the next big game.
