Indian warships on way to disputed South China Sea

In future, India may need to station a few ships permanently in SCS.. to secure the freedom of navigation there.

This needs co-operation with friendly ASEAN countries, Japan, Taiwan, US and South Korea.

First you have to set up a navy base in SCS.

its blown out of proportion , just regular visits and exercise .nothing new.

India believes and wants freedom of navigation in SCS ,the dispute should be handled by UN .

India is just their for economic interests.

One thing about Freedom of Navigation.

It was not long ago when our Indian ships were 'escorted' under Chinese ships shadow when they were in SCS last year :) And they (the Chinese) made it a point to escort our ships even when we did not need them to.

One can go on a high pitch of rhetoric about FoN in SCS. All bucks stop when you have them Chinese ships coming close to you :)
