Indian troops land in Dhaka for Ex Sampriti 2016

Already taken out by SEAD years before any MKI makes an appearance.

India would run over BD like hot knife through butter.

Don't wish for what will end you and welcome these exercises as gesture of master checking on minion's condition.

BD can always launch an insurgency campaign, and they have over 2 million troops. They can pack a punch.

This attitude you have shown towards BD several times before is stupid and so full of youself, not to mention false. You don't own them, last time I checked BD was its own nation that in fact got independence from India after WW2.

We have always deeply been involved in internal affairs of BD. That will not change with the ruling party.

So Indians won't mind if we meddle in the internal affairs of India then ....

Guys don't always bring religion here.C'mon be abit more constructive.

I don't decide the chronology of events ... If two related issues coincide in time it would be nonconstructive of me not to raise the matter

You think we will leave anything behind for there to be an insurgency? We won't even occupy that small piece of swamp land....just go in, destroy and smash absolutely everything thats worth something....withdraw and then watch them fight each other over the scraps....and permanently address their demographic problem in a very short time.

It will be the last thing they do called as "Bangladesh". They will have to come up with a new name afterwards to add to the line of names they have been known as so far.

And when you talk of independence, maybe you should first look up what date BD considers to be its true independence day. It certainly isnt the one in August that India and Pakistan have. They certainly never made a national narrative (that you will be prosecuted for if you question) of the British butchering 3 million of them in cold blood and X00,000 rapes etc.

Yes, you will because if you turn it to ashes the entire world will be against you. It's the same reason Israel doesn't flatten Gaza or NATO didn't flatten Iraq. It will also have huge ramifications on your nearby civilians, the environment, and you will waste ammunition. It won't happen.

If India invades Bangladesh, you will either have the BD military disbanding and surrendering or they will fight. If they fight, it won't be a walk in the park. They have over 2 million troops, India will face a challenge.

After India gets rid of the BD military/they surrender, militants will take over and they will fight hard. The Indian military would find it horrible to fight them, and it will suffer pretty badly. If you don't occupy Bangaldesh, then they will just pose a nasty threat to your population near the area. Even if you constantly attack them. Just look at Israel, they have tried the whole technique of not occupying, but launching small scale ops. It hasn't exactly made Gaza less of a threat. Now imagine how the less well equipped and less well trained Indian military would fair.

No matter what happens, Bangladesh would cause damage. It could become a problem for India lasting decades, so please lower your self esteem. The Indian military isn't some unearthly force that can do anything.

Whatever they consider their real Independence Day, they still fought for their independence from India way back in the late 40's.

Go ahead and try it. The thing is BD is not in a position to meddle in anything, even itself....so it will never come to the point where we even have to decide if we mind or not.

Rough day?

No one in the world cares about BD, whereas there is a whole propaganda campaign behind each side of the Palestine/Israel situation.

Sorry if BD asks for it (which they won't because no one in BD power structure is as stupid as the trolls here), India will oblige and crush that nation quickly, withdraw even quicker and leave it to the wolves.

Not one other country is going to care about what happens to BD during that or after.

They (whatever fragmented anarchy is prevalent afterwards) will pose little threat to our bordering areas given we will be occupying our border areas and probably whatever required buffer zone into BD....while leaving the core areas to forment, churn and tear itself apart over and over. Seeing how viciously polarised the BD people are in this very forum, they really shouldn't want to create a situation for India to have no other option.

Knowing them and knowing India, India will probably already have intervened in various other ways covertly beforehand in such a brewing situation (over months and years possibly)...to the point that they will be looked upon as liberators just like in 1971...given how we turned BD people masses against each other in that one as well (with Pakistan army being one more ingredient to the mix) knowing fully well which side had more numbers and will thus over time prevail with final Indian overt military support.

Why do you think the outright hate of "Indian-loving dalal/BAL agents" is on full unabashed display here? Its sheer frustration at the level of polarisation of the country. A polarisation that India knows and utilises all too well....mostly to stop the need for any overt conflict (given the other bigger threats to India).

But BD as a whole wont start anything with India either no matter how many BD posters here dream, speculate and project otherwise. It will be the end for them....and it will be a completely one-sided ending.

X million soldiers means little in this era of warfare of high technology, force integration, control and high end investment/capacity. Case in point, BD has absolutely no defense against missile (guided and unguided) barrages...and everything they have is densely packed into a small area. India is not going in there without landing all the softening blows that are required first. We will not fight fair in that sense, we will completely obliterate everything possible from a distance first (be it air, land or sea). Without even a semblance of modern military structure remaining after such an onslaught and next to no strategic depth available in BD (unlike say the USSR when they faced the wehrmachts in barbarossa with much larger numbers than 2 million with much more maneuvering space even in the frontlines)....it will not be strategically difficult for India to complete a liquidation of BD armed forces and its reserves in a short amount of time.

Hasina is afraid of losing her grip in gov and when her own people stands against her she will label them as terrorist and india will help her to keep the check on bangladesh as they dont wanna lose hers grip on bangladesh... bangaladesh is no more or less than nepal bhutan.

Man, we have our own share of problems.
We have to feed 160 millions of people in this tiny landmass, besides education, basic healthcare, clothing and proper housing facilities. These are the 5 fundamental basic requirements set in our constitution 45 years back. We cheer altogether in every single step forward. No need for anyone's acknowledgement..
This is an international forum and everyone is an ambassador of his country, don't make any nuisances and damage reputation of your country as a whole.

Now Indian army can learn something from Bangladeshi force on how to catch militants.Given their poor record and huge casualty and remarkable success in this front by our troops, there is nothing wrong if we teach training a weaker force like them.

We don't need to send any ground troops- a few MKIs from Tezpur would be enough
BD needs no air force planes to combat Indian jets. Our short, medium and long distance SAMs are good enough to destroy IAF planes while still they are inside Indian border.

No they aren't.

Your low quality low IQ country is about the same strength as Angola.

Worthless weakling nation. No wonder you continue to cry that 3 million of you got killed by just a few Pakistani soldiers....the inferiority complex continues to run deep.
