The trade and travel restrictions will have a negligible impact on Pakistan - the trade balance is in favor of India anyway.

So in essence in many ways this document suggests proposals that will lead to war, and is therefore unhelpful, but at the same time indicative of why Pakistan cannot lower its guard against India.

In the Indo - Pk context 62 years have taught us never to lower the guard.

You are not going to the cause of this contingency action - that's

Pakistan not assisting any terrorist activities towards India.

You are beating around the bush saying travel and trade restrictions dont work.

Close all the infrastructure of LET / JUD and other related organisations, dont allow those guys to raise funds in Islamabad and lahore for financing terrorist activities.

I had no idea how much hate there is in Indian mindset, today had the privilege of reading a few Bharat Rakshak threads, there is such a poisonous attitude i was astonished, this forum is 1000 times better then that one, atleast its very very civilized comparing to the other forum and such kind of documents.

The recommendations of the report dwarf in front of your stated ‘first use policy’ of nuclear weapons. Pray tell me how is your declaration of a nuclear first use in the event of an attack from the Indian armed forces any different from our declaration of retaliatory action in the event of a terrorist attack from your soil? Both policies are meant to deter the enemy from inflicting any damage to the respective country. In your case the threat comes from our armed forces, in our case it comes from terrorist groups operating from your soil.

Anyway, read the entire report. It is not specific to Pakistan but covers almost all aspects of national security challenges facing our country and suggests possible solutions to counter the same.

Isnt indian govt has already made clear beyond any doubt both in public and in private that india would retaliate if another 26/11 attack takes place??

So atleast we are not hypocrate we had already made it clear.

The 'war mongers' are the heads of prestigious corporate institutions in India & represent the sentiments of majority of Indians, including myself. There has to be an end to the sequence where Pakistani nationals keep attacking India & Pakistan just washes away the hands saying that government was not involved. At this point, we hardly care if Pakistani state was/will be directly involved. All we care about is the safety of our people & retaliation is an option to stop this.

Irrespective of the state involvement, Pakistani state IS responsible for what its nationals do & is accountable for any more 26/11 type attacks. And IMO, this report is an attempt to warn elements in Pakistan that may already be preparing for next wave of attacks in India. And to wake the Pakistani state up in case it is being negligent in handling their borders.

Most lilely its gonna a surgical strike...india is doing some preparation on it for sometime.
