Indian students in Bangladesh continue protests as authority denies registration

govt colleges have limited seats... so for most NRIs including my friends... private college is the way to go forward.
if you are not in merit list, you pay market rate. 1 crore or 10 crore, is upto market. Why do your friends think they have right to be doctor? I think govt should increase seats in govt colleges however, its pretty low.

trust me... one of two kids dont pass with merits in india... for like 300 seats in kerela... over 600k NRI students with distinctions appear for the entrance... but then one who might have aced in school exam might get left out because the guy who although was 1 % behind him in merits... have score more than him in entrance...

thats the point of an entrance test... it tests exact skills that they need. You are only asked questions on physics, chemistry and biology. Your marks on language or maths dont matter. Also it brings parity among multiple education boards, some boards give too much marks.(CBSE for example)
Even if they have 1000 seats, some of your NRI friends(the 1001 onwards) will face exactly same issue. I do agree they need to increase seats as we are short of doctors.

Why Supa Powa Indian students willing to study in 'inferior' Bangladesh?
Because unlike the bragging they does about their super rich supa powa country, most of their students can't afford a good medical education there. Simple. :agree:

well, the board exams are taken seperately so one subjects shortcomings wont save no one...
and if intelligence is judge with throughly revised subjects... then RIP intelligence.
CBSE gives too much marks? o_O the year before my exam... 2014 most probably... children were butchered... heard multiple reports of suicide from failing maths exam...
CBSE is like one of the hardest board to study in... imo atleast compared to IGCSE.

mate, everybody knows CBSE gives marks liberally... I am from stateboard and have compared myself with my mates from CBSE board... my board will never give 90+ marks in languages, but CBSE does. You can ask others, state boards are quite stingy compared to CBSE. Even ICSE is tougher than CBSE.

well in language subjects i did see cbse students getting more marks than other subjects.... but then i have seen state board students with terrible english speaking, reading and writing skills in my university in ukraine... so there is that.
as for the exams like physics, chem... comparatively state board papers are way easier.... the states are in competition with each other on whose students ace, pass more etc etc.
and when saying cbse is easier than IGCSE... my friends class 12 exam is comparative of mine class 9 exam...
and still those students somehow manage to get a "g", whats that!? pfftt.

The authority must take effective measures to mitigate the sufferings of all these students from India or other countries. BD's internal politics must not be allowed to play havoc to the future of these students.
