That Indian empire only exists in your mind, current day Pakistan was never part of you but for only the short period when British ruled you like you have always been ruled by outsiders. Russia is not interested in Afghanistan , they are more worried about their own republics going into the hands of Chinese. Chines are also not interested in Afghanistan as it has no human resources and natural resources to exploit.
