kudos to those paras if that is true,but 50 seems a very high number as there was no casualties on our side..and we are talking about jungle warfare here..50 kills without loosing a single soldier in jungle warfare seems exaggerated , unless our boys caught them sleeping in their tents ..lol

This is an unexpected attack in territory where such events are not common. The chances are the miltant groups were simply not prepared. Remember that these groups too have been mainly non-active for a long period of time. The militant groups have taken a big hit.
