Actually all the smugglers who are active in Indo-Bangla border are farmers. Smuggling is their part time Job.. Indians and Bangladeshis living close to the borders have very good relations between them... Its BSF mainly from UP/Bihar or other part of India treats Bangals badly irrespective of their nationality..... today BGB chased syrup smugglers and later found themselves surrounded by Villagers of the smuggler's village and had to fire in self defence...

I don't know who trains these BGB idiots, but sneaking into foreign territory and killing a farmer is not a wise thing to do. He is lucky that BSF intervened in right moment. I hope he will be tried in court for trespassing and murdering.

You are right, but then you shouldn't have any issue with border killings. These farmers cum smugglers know the risk they are getting into and it's a multi billion dollar business, they are not poor innocent people.

They should seal the border, that would stop these smugglers and govt of both countries will earn from taxes by legalizing the underground trade.
