Actually, I do not look at religion before making friends. I have lived in Mumbai for quite a bit of my life and in Seattle as well. Nowhere I had to ask or specify religion before friendship. And FYI, haven't seen the lynching mobs you are claiming. They may be there but then, they can be there in Pakistan as well. Ask Ahmediyas!

Almost all of my friends are Hindus and never had any hatred from them. Cann't say same about Pakistani Hindus who are now getting a basic civil right to marry legally in Pakistan. I would rather be a Muslim in India than a Hindu in Pakistan. Any day.
