Because there is absolutely nothing that you can send to Pakistan through India. It is going to be expensive as hell. the same reason India doesnt ask for a land transit to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan!AL led govt is trying to disguise its acts of giving away transit to Indian interest. How a transit for India can be recipricated by India if again BD gives more transits to Nepal and Bhutan for their foreign trade? Foreign secretary is calling it a 'Regional Transit.' Not bad words to appease India. But, where is our transit? Why BD does not demand transits to Pakistan and China in exchange?
Any trade like that is done through the sea. You really seem to be very intelligent.
China you can trade with. I dont know the status of that. Maybe the border should be settled first and then the rest of the discussions about trade should take place.
There is a big difference between China and India. While China tries to fix the ladder beneath our legs, India tries to take it away. This is why China is trusted and india is not.
Yeah, so you give your unsubstantiated statements based on your feelings. You trust China, so a credit line which is not as favourable as India's is acceptable to you blindly. Nice, way to go mate.
BTW, giving transit to India really helps BD, they make money in every form! From direct transit fee which they gain, to an increased economic activity in their territory, which includes tons of things from increased vehicle movement to heck the drivers eating at roadside dhabas! Its a complete win win for BD!
