I try not to comment on military issues because I am simply ignorant about defence equipments. But I'd think that the huge arsenal of Pakistani missiles of various ranges, launched from mobile launchers, can paralyze a large part of India. Think of what Hamas or Hezbollah were able to do to a power like Israel? Shut down a large part of Israeli south and north, respectively, using much more primitive missiles than what Pakistan is capable of throwing at India.

There is not even a consolation victory for India unless Uncle Sam overtly joins on India's side.

Look everyone don't be surprised on what modi is talking these days because he himself doesn't know what he is doing. Being a psychologist myself i actually think he is suffering from some psychological disorder because at first he ordered indian army to respond quickly to Pakistan on the place of their own choice just after Uri base attack in IOK letting Pakistani people feel the same pain that indian did. Then he gave a statement of isolating Pakistan in the whole world, in doing so indian government wrote a letter to Russian government to not come to Pakistan for the joint war exercises with the Pakistan Army but the Russian government gave them a tough response when they reach Pakistan telling india that they should not poke their nose in other affairs. After all the shit and harsh words been spoken by modi now today he becomes a innocent cat who is hiding himself from the situation. You should play your role in your country and we will play role in our" after his this statement and all the statements he has given in the past week one can imagine his psychological situation. He is mentally suffering and one can not blame him for this. Israel is geographically a very small country, they can not afford closure of any part of their country, same with Pakistan but India is a big country and can stomach more losses with relatively less overall impact.
These days Air forces play a vital role in wars/aggressive military/political posturing. Once Indians are confident that their AF can dominate PAF, they will attack.
