Indian police shoot dead at least 8 from Assam tribe

. . . .
Its completely reasonable, just like how CCP deal with the Tibetan protest, accidents always happened. RIP to the dead and Good Work Indian Police Force.

Sorry but I don't see any parallel. When have the Tibetans ever wielded spears or even stones when protesting? If anything they burn themselves to death without threatening to harm anyone, even the police that beats them to a pulp. Violence simply isn't part of the Tibetan culture and spirit, but self-sacrifice is worryingly becoming so.

Don't get me wrong. I am all for peaceful dialogue between Tibetans and Beijing. Just give them the autonomy to practice what they want in terms of culture and religion, you do not need to give up any land for that. As far as I understand, their demands have even been reduced to genuine autonomy within China.

Please, spread love amongst your Tibetan brothers. I hate to see Asians killing and fighting other Asians, especially when they have been brothers in every sense for several thousand years. We are learning this the hard way in Kashmir after Sheikh Abdullah passed away. Please do not fall for the same divide and conquer policy of the west, but understand and address the genuine grievances of those segments. That is where unity and prosperity lies, by considering and treating them as your family, not as 'others'.

It is indeed surprising that a subject on local Indian affairs is being allowed to be discussed.
