I think there is a slight chance of a medal in men's triple jump. Coz new from south India has impressed and broke national record by quiet a margin.
Also women's archer team has a good chance just realised.

.
Some bad news guys Narsingh Yadav has failed doping test, I smell a big conspiracy behind this.

But the archers are very unpredictable. They might surprise you though.

Sushil Kumar actually wanted trial for the spot in place of him. So Sushil Kumar himself could be involved in this? Freaking nasty if comes out true.

Never thought for such thing to happen with 20 days to go. Just not good for sports if there is any conspiracy found against Yadav. Sushil's side did looked like pressuring for the trial, may be there is an act of some insider.

Ya maybe. Sushil's recent tweets are a bit salty. Narsingh had a decent chance of winning a medal. And for now it seems no Indian can replace him according to rules againt doping, big loss!

Don't be surprised if we get a medal in athletics this time... this is the best athletics team that we are sending to any Olympics.

Other event where we can get a medal (IMO):

Boxing
Shooting
Wrestling
Tennis
Hockey
badminton (may be)

Yes, there are chances of Atheletics medal, it will be the greatest achievement for Indian sports. As per recent performance Ankit Sharma (Long Jump), 4x400 relay teams have some possibilities.

I don't know whether anyone has noticed it, Ankit Sharma jumped 8.14, 8.17 and 8.19 in qualifying meet in Kazakhstan. The longest jump of Silver medalist in London 2012 was 8.16. Ankit seems quite consistent in that range.
