Here is the notebook of Indian nuclear forces 2012.
The Agni V is estimated to be capable of delivering a payload of 1.5 tons (the same
as the Agni III and IV), but Indias first and second-generation warheads, even modified versions are relatively heavy compared with warheads developed by other nuclear weapon states that deploy MIRVs.

Aren't we hearing the number of 80-100 nuclear warheads for the past ten years? Dumb news agencies, copying data from other internet sites.

Almost all internet sources put the Indian nos. between 80 and 110.............they cannot be wrong !

No outsiders are allowed to count the number of warheads, and there hasn't been any official confirmation from any officials for the last couple of years.

And given the amount of enriched uranium we make every year, we can have enough fissile material for 20-30 atom bombs every year. My estimate will be more than 200.

.
we had fissile material of 1000+ nukes in year 2000.i read smwhere..

i m done wid this 70-90 :hitwall:

who lets others to knw abt nukes number?

Dont underestimate foreign military think tanks...they have their sources in places where no one can even imagine to place moles.

When we developed our nukes, no foreign intelligence even thought of it. And think tanks have zero credibility, more like the think tanks who estimated huge stockpile of Iraqi WMDs. :coffee:

It has been out in the media many times that news of Iraqi WMDs was fabricated by Pentagon and the Bush administration. Not all foreign think tanks had a role to play in it.

CIA satellites failed to track our test :enjoy:
and these are just paid agencies who open mouth as per their masters ask dem.
no body speak about indian nukes...

.
80 to 100 nukes is a good number...donno why people are hell bent on increasing the number needlessly even though there are no sources to prove it.

What'll you say about this then? As i said, they have zero credibility. Even many think tanks in south Asian countries thinks 9/11 was a inside job (yes, you got that right whom i'm talking about. ;) ).

Count on them after writing your suicide note

.
Thats true.

India also has designs for 200 kT yield.
My friend... India and Pakistan both passed the 200kT marker back in 2001 :) Think bigger :D

And what the fraK is up with this 90-100 estimate? My guesstimate is 300+ for both India and Pakistan!
