the reason why Lanka permit our sub station is because it shows the dissatisfaction to India and tell India the hard truth that Lanka can use China to leverage India.

One thing is important in this conversation that we should all take into context is that Sri Lanka is mainly composed of two enthic people one is Tamil and other is Singala....As you know India has 60 plus millions of Tamils naturally that makes India a Tamil supporter where as Singala people needs someone to support...and while are the ones who rule Sri Lanka they brought in China....

Sino-Sri Lanka relationship has nothing to do with India.they know the very truth which you don't.relationship with far away nations gets built and broken,but neighbours are here to stay forever.we've some bitter truth to face.but in reality,India provides mainly aid to rebuild Sri Lanka while China is there for business.providing weapons,investing money there has nothing to do with relationship with India.we bleed when it was needed to save their country,you didn't.and its the fact for entire region.
