What's new

Indian Navy looking for latest choppers.

Yes and I am looking for Typhoon class SSBN for a trip..Problem with both is the budget..

What problem with the budget? Adequate funds are there. The only problem is a will to spend. There is an inherent knack of saving money instilled at every level of our procurement process that gives full credence to "penny wise pound foolish". The money is there, only will in people to spend it to buy correctly is missing. Everyone wants to save money now and get a VSM for the efforts without realising the long term damage to the system. Its rampant. An excellent example is laying of OFCs in forward areas. Some wise *** decided he can save GoI by laying JW instead ............ decades old tech, which has lesser clarity and capacity and frequent breakdowns. It was a cheaper option in short term and he got VSM for it. But now the damn thing needs to be replaced again!!!!

Frankly , i expect American SeaHawk or SeaKnight Helicopter to win this deal...

...and to equip the 4 LPD/LHD which we plan to acquire as well as the 4 P15B Destroyers and 7 P17A Frigates

Sea Knights are not in production anymore, nor do they have any ASW capability and would be too big for the IN Frigats and Destroyers, while the LDPs should get bigger helicopters than Sea Kings, or Sea Hawks (AW 101 Merlin, Sikorsky S92, V22, CH53K)

I expect Eurocopter Fennec to win Indian Army/IAF deal , while Eurocopter Puma TO WIN Indian Navy deal

I guess you confused the names a bit here, because the Puma is a medium class helicopter not a LUH. IN wants an LUH just like IAF and IN, but backed out in the past from the joint orders (which imo was a big mistake!), but they will evaluate most likely the same LUH like IA/IAF, just in naval varients:
