BJP is moving towards are more conservative attitude rather than a Hindu. The Hindu definition is being redefined to Indian. Because historically, there is no such thing as a Hindu. A hindu was a person from Hindustan. Be they muslim or "hindu".
Now consider this, Hindus have many different sects.
Now as far as muslims in India. They are a lot safer in India than they are in Pakistan. How many Muslims died in Pakistan recently? War on terror or terror war?
Beef? Its not a Hindu vs Muslims thing. Never was. Different castes view cow slaughter differently. Some Hindus still kill the cow, eat or worship it. Some muslims don't eat beef, haven't done so for centuries.

Only 2 nations base their existence on Religion. Israel, and Pakistan both under the help of the British. You hate Israel, but you are a mirror image of Israel!
If India wanted a wall with Muslims, we'd ship the muslims to Pakistan. Fortunately Indian Muslims feel Indian, Punjabi, Gujarati or Tamil. They are not rich urdu speaking banayas who stole land.
