Lol because of a small incident involving a stupid college ..even the brightest in Pakistan are having wet dreams about the separation of India. How lame!! Its easy to spew BS but some people just cross the line with it.

as regarding sikhs and their turban - many sikhs don't wear it. sikhs are a small minority. they are mostly in north India..
many muslims don't care for hijab,burqah,nqab whatever. secularism reaches it's best when people interact without brining religion in between. every religious symbol/sign/dress code needs to be banned in Colleges.

a uniform or a dress code must be the same regardless of religions. religion has no rule even if some believe it is the divine rule.

Thats correct of out side a studying permisis. You need not show of to your fellow students that you belong to this or that religion. The Institution had a dress code, should the student not respect that? is the institution asking her to not wear the dress she wants in her home or elsewhere outside the school. come on.
Its like saying when joining the military i will not put the military uniform.

Does that particular Institution also allow people of other faiths to hang their turban at home and put it back on once they leave? Stop calling it a secular decision and call it personal preference of those who are incharge. There is absolutely nothing wrong with calling it that. Co ed? You must have no objection if women go to market and buy their undergarments and other personal stuff from men shopkeepers, but the same women when join colleges for education, that is questioned in red?
